Rather than using the microwave, I stir this up in a tiny pan on the stove and then use it on top of 5 saltines for a filling meal. Sometimes I'll include a bed of fresh spinach with it. It is also good stirred into the mac 'n cheese supplement, which I also cook on the stove. When combining the two, I will eat half and refrigerate the other half in a container to refrigerate and carry to work for lunch the following day. A drop of hot sauce can provide variety to the flavor, as well.
